| 1921年、エドゥアルド・ジャイエ（アンリ・ジャイエの父の兄弟、セシル・トランブレーの曽祖父）がドメーヌを創業しました。所有面積は約6ヘクタール。その娘ルネ・ジャイエ（セシル・トランブレーの祖母）は1950年、畑を同じ家系であるミシェル・ノエラに貸しました。メテイヤージュ（分益小作）で、ミシェル・ノエラは、彼がこの畑から造ったワインの半分程度をルネ・ジャイエに寄贈し、地代としてきました。2000年より、それまでワインで支払われていた分を、ぶどうで、孫のセシル・トランブレーに支払うという契約変更が成立しました。収穫からセシルの手によって行われ、そのぶどうを使って、ロブレ・モノとともにワイン造りを開始しました。2003年、半分の3ヘクタール分についてメテイヤージュの契約期間が終了し、セシルが正式に畑を継承しました。残り半分も将来的には返却されることになります。 （※元エージェント資料より） |

The 2018 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru is livelier and more dynamic
than the richer, broader Echezeaux, wafting from the glass with aromas
of rose petals, wild berries, citrus rind, smoked meats and espresso
roast. On the palate, the wine is deep, full-bodied and immensely satiny,
with considerable concentration, lively acids and a long, penetrating
finish. This is a Chapelle-Chambertin that stands out for its exquisite
textural refinement and harmony. At this early stage, this would be my
pick as the finest wine in the cellar, but it will be fascinating to
revisit from bottle. |

The 2017 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru offers up a complex bouquet of cassis, plums, sweet spices, grilled squab and savory base notes. On the palate, it's deep, dense and full-bodied, with the most concentration and substance of any wine in the cellar, framed by fine structuring tannins and concluding with a long finish. In contrast to the expansive Echezeaux, the Chapelle-Chambertin is tighter-knit and more focused. Tremblay's vines are located in lieu-dit Les Gemeaux, next to the holdings of Domaine Claude Dugat. |

The 2016 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru included 50% whole-bunch fruit, the highest of Cecile's cuvees this year. It has a perfumed bouquet, very pure and seductive, not as powerful or intense as the 2015 but very focused and seeming to lock into the senses immediately. Gorgeous black cherries intermingle with boysenberry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent, fresh, black cherry and mineral-tinged entry, a fine thread of acidity here and real precision and harmony toward the finish. What a fabulous Chapelle-Chambertin this is destined to be. Queue up for a bottle. |

The 2015 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has a perfumed and quite floral bouquet, red plum mixed with pomegranate jus, a fine sense of mineralite developing in the glass, but remaining quite strict. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry, impressive body and weight here, but Cecile has avoided any heaviness thanks to the acidity; the finish is long and persistent in the mouth. This has plenty of potential though, and unlike some of her other 2015s that convey more approachability, it deserves 4-5 years in bottle. It may well warrant a higher score down the line. |
