This bright, medium-to-dark ruby-colored wine's spicy red and black cherry-infused nose precedes its expressive, rich, sultry (yet serious), full-bodied, and concentrated core of violets, plump cherries, plums, and blackberries. This broad, feminine, expansive, hedonistic (yet structured), and seductive wine combines flavorful, sweet, and supple fruits with a firm, softly tannic backbone. Surprisingly, given the vintage's forward nature, this may ultimately be one of Chopin's longest lived wines. 2002-2010+.
