　樹齢の高いブドウから珠玉のワインを紡ぎだす、プイィ・フュイッセのトップドメーヌ
1840年に創立したドメーヌJ.A.フェレは、長らくフュイッセ地区を代表するトップドメーヌの一つとして知られてきました。　第二次世界大戦後、フュイッセ地区において自家栽培したブドウを自身で瓶詰めした最初のドメーヌであり、テロワールを区分けすると言うコンセプトをフュイッセ地区に導入し、それぞれの区画のワインを別々に醸造する事を始めたワイナリーの先駆けでもあります。　さらにテート・ド・クリュ（上級キュヴェ）、オール・クラッセ（最上級キュヴェ）というカテゴリー分けが構築されました。　2008年メゾン・ルイ・ジャドはその伝統とワイン哲学とともに、一族より約17haのフェレの畑を受け継ぎました。　今日のドメーヌ・フェレを率いるのは、若き女性醸造家オドレ・ブラチーニです。　「少量生産に徹し、樹齢の高いブドウの樹から優れたワインを造る」というフェレのワイン哲学を受け継ぎ、フュイッセのテロワールと自然をそのままワインに反映させた、洗練されたワイン造りを手掛けています。　※輸入元資料参照

The 2010 Pouilly-Fuisse Sous Vergisson comes exclusively from the lieu-dit courtesy of 40-year-old vines and is aged one-third in used oak. Tasted from a sample sent to my home, it has a well-defined, fragrant bouquet with subtle notes of apple peel, mango and a touch of melted candle wax that together gain intensity in the glass. The palate is nicely balanced, perhaps just a little fatter than the 2011 at the moment, but retaining crisp Cornice pear and citrus peel notes toward the finish. This is a very fine Pouilly-Fuisse, though I wager that the following vintage will turn out the better in the long-term. Drink now-2017.
